Review of bell.ca
I was a long-time customer of Bell Canada, using their Internet 100 service for several years at around $90 per month. The service itself was generally stable, and I didn’t have major issues during that time, so I stayed with them out of convenience.
Recently, I decided to explore other options and switched to Rogers Communications after finding a much better deal 150 Mbps internet for just $35 per month. The difference in pricing was immediately noticeable, and it felt like a much more competitive offer for faster speeds.
However, the part that left me most frustrated was the cancellation process. After ending my contract with Bell, I was charged an additional $250 cancellation fee. Given that I had already been paying relatively high monthly rates for years, this extra charge felt excessive and discouraging.
While I understand contracts come with terms and conditions, the overall experience made me question the value and flexibility offered. In comparison, the alternatives in the market seem far more affordable and consumer-friendly.
Based on my experience, I would advise others to carefully review long-term commitments and cancellation policies before choosing a provider like Bell Internet.
